One family business resulted in Perdomo little cigars
Nick Perdomo, who is by far one of the greatest representatives of the global cigar industry, talked about the Perdomo little cigars, thanks to which his company fantastically transformed from a small garage workshop into the largest production of premium cigars.
His grandfather, a Cuban named Silvio, devoted his entire active life to a cigar. At the very beginning of the thirties of the last century, he began activities as torsedora of the Cuesta y Cia manufactory, and then worked at the H. Upmann factory.
However, memories of the cigar business towering in Havana on the street Industry No. 520, bearing the proud name of Partagas, has always held in the heart of Silvio Perdomo special feelings. Wonderful factory where he worked for several years hand in hand, along with her beloved son Nicholas Perdomo Sr., became their last job in Cuba. After the Cuban Revolution, father and son Perdomo entered into opposition to the new government, and after some tragic events, Nicholas the elder ended up in the United States, and after a few more long years, Silvio arrived from Cuba. As a result, Nick Perdomo found himself at the pinnacle of fame, fame and respect in the cigar world.
At launch, La Tradición Reserve Perdomo little cigars appeared in wrapper sheets of African Cameroon, Ecuadorian Sun Grown and Nicaraguan Maduro, with tobacco mix of Nicaraguan leaves.
The La Tradición Reserve Perdomo little cigars had no names, just some letters or numbers, e.g. Reserve R, Reserve No.4, Reserve Maduro A, etc.
In May 2004, Cigar Insider magazine awarded Tradición Perdomo Reserve Cameroon E Double Corona format 91 points, with the comment: “This magnificent cigar has a balanced taste of coffee beans, leather and caramel, as well as a hint of black pepper and a woody aftertaste. “
